Post 5: My future job

 Hello everyone, personally in the future I would like to work on the font design. This is an area of design that does not interest many and here in Chile there is very little exploration and although that could be detrimental in many aspects, such as economically, I still prefer to take the risk. The love for fonts and letters is born since I began to study design and I have been able to know the great history and importance of fonts today, which goes beyond the thousands that we can have installed on our computer. 

The design of a word or letter can modify the transmission of the message, and these are adapted to different contexts, for which I would like to work first in Chile, in an "established" place to be able to have access to the tools, but without ruling out the possibility of traveling. In fact, I would very much like to travel within Chile, visit different places, contexts, people and cultures to be able to extract all that and incorporate it into the design of font that can characterize the diverse culture of Chile. 

This is one of my dream jobs that although it seems a bit difficult, I know that I can achieve it, since in the first place, I have the support of the design career that I am currently studying, which helps me a lot in the basic knowledge of typography, but it is not enough, so when I finish my degree I want to get a master's degree in typography to specialize.
